Intergenerational Connection – Young and Older Adults Creating Together

The Intergenerational Connection initiative brings young people and older adults together through shared creative activities, mutual learning, and meaningful experiences centered around common interests—technology, art, music, cooking, history, and life stories.

The program combines group sessions with one-on-one personal meetings, creating a living human bridge between generations. These encounters strengthen older adults’ sense of value, purpose, and belonging, encourage social responsibility and volunteerism among young participants, and contribute to building a more tolerant, connected, and cohesive community.

Join the “Intergenerational Connection – Youth and Seniors Creating Together” Program

There are meetings that change your perspective — and there are those that truly touch the heart.

The Kalik Association invites high school students* and seniors to take part in a unique, moving, and inspiring program that brings generations together and allows each participant to share their knowledge, experience, and heart.

What’s in the program?

Ten engaging group sessions filled with activities and meaningful discussions
One-on-one personal meetings between each young participant and a senior, fostering deeper connection and meaningful acquaintance
Shared learning, knowledge exchange, and strengthening of social bonds
Professional guidance and mentoring throughout the program
A meaningful experience that contributes to the community and enriches all participants

The program will conclude with a joint final project and a certificate ceremony.
