Beit Yakinton – A Multidisciplinary Day Center for Older Adults in Hod Hasharon
Beit Yakinton is operated by a diverse multidisciplinary professional team and a group of senior volunteers, under the leadership of Vered Beer.
The activities at Beit Yakinton promote health and optimal aging, with the goal of enabling the people who attend to experience a sense of belonging, enjoyment, friendship, and meaning:

Mosaic art class (an impressive exhibition of works decorates the center’s walls)

A computer room serving as a learning center: 10 computer stations with a dedicated instructor

Qigong and meditation classes

A variety of adapted exercise classes

An intergenerational physical activity park — the first of its kind in Israel — designed to develop motor and cognitive skills

Physiotherapy sessions

Regular check-ups by a nurse and a physiotherapist

A unique memory-improvement class at various levels (using the TIM method)

Operating Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 07:00–14:00 — including door-to-door transportation
