A documentary film by Gadi Kviatek– pursues a journey of revelation where a group of senior women and their director bond together through theater. The film follows the establishment of a women’s theatrical group. The group involves women from CLICK’S Senior Citizen’s Club in the Giora neighborhood of Hod Ha Sharon. The women are between the ages of 65-80 and immigrated to Israel from Morocco, Yemen, Persia and Iraq during the 1950’s. The film deals with the empowerment of women and the revelation into their intimate lives as well as a journey into a world which is rapidly disappearing. This film gives credit to the group of women who always saw themselves as marginal individuals. It also shows that they have the power to become a part of the theatrical world and have the courage to relive their own personal drama.
